Why You’re Still Tired Even After Sleeping (And What Actually Helped Me Recover Properly)

For women building a business, managing a home, and trying to function on low energy.

You go to bed.

You sleep.

You wake up…

…and you’re still tired.

Not exhausted in an obvious way.

Just not fully rested.

Like your body slept, but didn’t really recover.

And when you’re balancing business, home, responsibilities…

that kind of tired builds up quickly.

When Sleep Isn’t the Problem

For a long time, I thought I just needed more sleep.

Earlier nights. Better routine.

And yes… that helped a little.

But not enough.

Because the issue wasn’t just how long I was sleeping.

It was how well my body was actually recovering during sleep.

The Part We Don’t Always Think About

Most of us focus on:

  • how many hours we sleep
  • what time we go to bed
  • maybe reducing screen time

But we don’t always think about:

👉 the quality of recovery

Because you can sleep…

and still not fully recharge.

Why This Matters More (Especially Now)

If your energy has been feeling off lately…

this becomes even more important.

Things like:

  • stress
  • constant mental load
  • hormonal shifts

can affect how deeply your body rests.

So even if you’re “doing the right things”…

your body might not be fully switching into recovery mode.

What I Started Looking Into

Instead of trying to force better sleep…

I started looking into ways to support deeper recovery.

Not complicated things.

Just small adjustments that could help the body relax properly.

That’s when I came across something I hadn’t really considered before:

👉 grounding / earthing support during sleep

At first, I wasn’t sure what to think.

But the idea was simple:

Helping the body relax more deeply while you sleep.

What I Noticed

I didn’t expect anything dramatic.

But after a while, I started noticing:

  • I woke up feeling a bit more rested
  • my sleep felt deeper
  • less of that “still tired” feeling in the morning

Nothing extreme.

Just… better recovery.

If You’re Curious

If you’ve been feeling like your sleep isn’t really restoring your energy…

this might be something to look into.

This is one of the grounding sheets I explored when I started looking into deeper recovery during sleep:

👉 Grounding Sheet

Take your time with it.

Read about it.

See if it feels right for you.

A Simple Reality Check

This isn’t about finding a magic solution.

And everyone is different.

But if you’re:

  • sleeping… but still tired
  • doing all the “right things”… but not feeling better

Then it might not be about doing more.

It might be about supporting your body differently.

For Women Building a Business, This Changes Everything

When your sleep improves…

everything improves:

  • your focus
  • your patience
  • your consistency
  • your ability to show up

And that’s what most women actually need.

Not more effort.

Better recovery.

Final Thought

Sometimes it’s not that you’re doing too much.

It’s that your body isn’t getting the recovery it needs.

And once that shifts…

everything else becomes easier.

Feeling Drained Lately? This Is What Actually Helped Me (Simple Changes That Made a Difference)

For women building a business, managing a home, and trying to keep their energy without burning out.

There’s a kind of tired that sleep doesn’t fix.

Not the “I need an early night” kind.

I mean the heavy, slow, everything-feels-like-effort kind.

And when you’re a woman in business…

running a home…

taking care of everyone else…

you don’t really get to stop.

You just keep going.

Even when your energy isn’t there.

When “Just Life” Doesn’t Fully Explain It

For a long time, I told myself it was normal.

Of course I’m tired.

There’s a lot going on.

Business. Family. Responsibilities.

So I did what most of us do.

I pushed through.

More coffee. More discipline. More “I’ll rest later.”

Because when you’re juggling everything, it’s easy to assume the problem is simply that there’s too much to do.

So you adapt.

You carry on.

That’s what we do.

The Question That Changed Everything

But at some point, I had to be honest with myself.

This didn’t feel like “normal busy.”

Something felt… off.

My energy wasn’t stable.
My focus wasn’t the same.
Simple things felt heavier than they used to.

And that’s when I started asking a different question:

What if this isn’t just stress?

What if something is shifting internally?

The Part No One Really Talks About

Perimenopause isn’t something we talk about enough.

And yet, it can show up quietly.

Not in a dramatic, obvious way.

But in small shifts that affect your day-to-day life:

  • low or inconsistent energy
  • brain fog
  • mood changes
  • disrupted sleep
  • reduced resilience

Nothing extreme.

Just enough to make everything feel harder than it used to.

And when you’re running a business and a home…

you feel it even more.

Why “Pushing Through” Stops Working

At that point, I realised something important.

Trying to push through wasn’t helping.

Doing more wasn’t the solution.

If anything, it was making things worse.

So I shifted my approach.

Instead of asking, “How can I keep going like this?”

I started asking:

“How can I support my body better?”

What I Started Looking Into

I stopped looking for quick fixes.

And started looking into simple, natural ways to support my energy.

That’s when two things kept coming up again and again:

👉 Spirulina
👉 Chlorella

At first, I ignored it.

It sounded like another trend.

But the more I looked into it, the more it made sense.

Why Spirulina and Chlorella?

Without overcomplicating it:

  • they’re both nutrient-dense algae
  • they support energy and overall balance
  • they’re often used to help with fatigue and low energy

What stood out to me wasn’t just the benefits.

It was how many people were quietly using them and seeing real, consistent results.

What Happened When I Tried Them

I didn’t expect anything dramatic.

But after a short time, I started noticing small changes:

  • my energy felt more stable
  • I didn’t hit the same afternoon crash
  • my focus improved
  • I just felt… lighter

Not overnight.

Not magically.

But enough to notice.

And enough to keep going.

If You’re Curious, This Is What I Looked Into

If you’ve been feeling off lately…

more tired than usual…

not quite like yourself…

this might be worth exploring.

These are the ones I personally looked into:

👉  My Spirulina click here
👉  My Chlorella click here

Take your time with it.

Read. Compare. See what feels right for you.

A Quick Note on Hormonal Support

As I started looking into energy more deeply, I also came across a few natural options that are often mentioned in relation to hormonal balance, especially during perimenopause.

Two that kept coming up were:

👉 Agnus Castus (also known as Vitex)
👉 Wild Yam

They’re often used to support hormonal changes, particularly when it comes to cycle balance and overall well-being.

That said, I didn’t go deep into these personally at this stage.

And if you’re considering anything more hormone-related, it’s always worth doing your own research or speaking to a professional.

For me, starting with simple foundational support felt like the right first step.

A Quick Reality Check

This isn’t about fixing everything with one thing.

And everyone’s body is different.

But if your energy has been off…

and you’ve been wondering why…

this might be something to explore alongside everything else.

For Women Building a Business, This Matters More Than We Admit

Low energy doesn’t just affect your body.

It affects everything:

  • how you show up
  • your consistency
  • your visibility
  • your confidence

You can have the best ideas in the world…

But if you’re depleted, it’s hard to bring them to life.

We’re so used to showing up for everything and everyone else.

But supporting yourself properly isn’t a luxury.

It’s what allows you to keep showing up in all the roles you care about.

How to Build a Visibility Routine That Sticks

We all know visibility is important. Without it, even the best ideas, offers, or services can stay hidden from the very people who need them most. But let’s be honest — staying visible is not always easy. Life gets busy, clients need attention, kids need us, and posting online can slide down the list.

The truth is you do not need hours every day or endless energy to stay visible. You just need a routine that fits into your life and feels natural enough to repeat.

Why Routines Work

Motivation comes and goes. We all have those days when inspiration flows, but we also have the days when we do not feel like showing up at all. That is why routines are so powerful.

Think of brushing your teeth. You do not ask yourself if you are motivated, you just do it because it is part of your day. Visibility can be the same. When it becomes a habit, you stop overthinking it and simply show up.

Start Small

One of the biggest mistakes I see is trying to do too much at once. That usually leads to burnout and disappearing altogether. Instead, start small.

Here is a simple 10-minute routine you can try:

  • Leave 3 thoughtful comments on posts in your niche

  • Post 1 quick tip, story, or quote

  • Send 1 genuine DM of encouragement

That is it. Done in 10 minutes. These micro-steps might look small, but over time they build trust, open doors, and keep you visible in ways that matter.

Make It Easy to Remember

If you struggle to stay consistent, try linking your new visibility habit to something you already do. This is called “habit stacking.”

  • After your morning coffee → write a short post

  • Before you log off for the day → send a DM

  • After checking your emails → leave 2 comments

The easier it is to remember, the more natural it becomes.

Keep It Simple

You do not need fancy tools to stay consistent, but it helps to have reminders. Sticky notes, a calendar alert, or even a checklist can make a big difference.

And remember: you do not need to share “perfect” content. Your everyday stories are enough. People connect more with your journey than with polished perfection.

Celebrate Small Wins

Do not wait until you land a big feature to celebrate. Notice the small wins:

  • A kind comment

  • A new connection

  • A DM conversation that starts because you posted

These small wins are proof your routine is working.

Tools That Can Help

Here are some tools from my ecosystem that can make visibility feel easier:

  • 🌐 WomenBizHub Directory → Get your business listed so people can find you even when you are offline.

  • 💼 Getfeatured Stand → Share your posts in the Women in Business Community anytime, without waiting for promo days. [Join here]

  • 📖 Rise & Shine Journal → A 30-day motivational journal filled with prompts and quotes to help you stay consistent every day.

  • VIP Visibility Kit → Includes prompts, templates, and a planner to keep you on track.

You do not need to post everywhere or spend hours online to stay visible. What you need is a routine that feels doable and repeatable. Small, simple steps, taken every day, add up to the results you are looking for.

Start today with one small action. Stick with it for a week. Then another. Before you know it, visibility will no longer feel like a struggle. It will feel like part of your rhythm.

The 10-Minute Content System: Repurpose One Post Into Three

How many times have you thought, “I don’t have time to create content”?

The truth is, you don’t need hours. You just need a system. And here’s one that works in under 10 minutes.

Step 1: Write One Core Post (3–5 sentences)

This is your starting point — one short piece of value. It could be:

  • A tip you’d give a client

  • A mini-story from your day

  • A short opinion on something in your niche

💡 Example:
“One mistake I see all the time in business owners is overcomplicating their content. Instead of aiming for 5 perfect posts, focus on one strong message and repurpose it. Consistency wins.”

Step 2: Repurpose It Into 3 Formats

From this single post, you can instantly create:

  1. Social Post → Copy-paste it as is to Facebook, LinkedIn, or Threads.

  2. Visual/Graphic → Turn the key line into a Canva quote image or carousel.

  3. Micro-Video → Record a 30-second reel/story where you say the same thing to camera.

Done. Three pieces of content from one idea.

Step 3: Distribute With Intention

Post the text version on one platform.
Drop the graphic on another.
Use the video for reels/stories.

💡 You just tripled your reach in less than 10 minutes — without creating anything “new.”

Why This Works

  • Saves time: No staring at blank pages.

  • Reinforces your message: People need repetition before they remember you.

  • Meets people where they are: Some prefer reading, others watching, others scrolling visuals.

Can You Really Retire at 60 if You’re Broke at 50?

If you’re in your 50s and feel “too late” to start saving, think again. I recently watched a brilliant episode of the BiggerPockets Money Podcast that proved you can retire in 10–15 years — even if you’re starting from zero at age 50.

The hosts used a case study called “Barb” — a 50-year-old woman with no assets and no savings. Her goal? To retire by 60. The plan they laid out is tough but realistic, and it works whether you’re in the US or the UK.

Here are a few highlights:

1. Save Your First $25,000 (US) / £20,000 (UK)

This is the hardest but most important milestone. It creates a financial buffer, builds confidence, and allows you to take smarter risks with career or housing.

2. Focus on the Big Three Expenses

  • Housing → In the US, consider “house hacking” (renting rooms or buying a duplex). In the UK, the rent-a-room scheme lets you earn up to £7,500/year tax-free from a lodger.

  • Transport → Downgrade cars or use public transport where possible.

  • Food → Cut takeaways, meal plan, and buy in bulk.

3. Invest With the Right Tools

  • US → Maximise 401k match, use Roth IRA for tax-free retirement withdrawals, and remember Social Security.

  • UK → Contribute to your workplace pension, use a Stocks & Shares ISA (£20k/year limit), or a Lifetime ISA (25% government bonus if eligible). Plus, the State Pension adds a safety net.

💡 This is just a quick taste. I’ve written a full breakdown for both US and UK readers, with step-by-step actions inspired by the podcast episode.

Faith, AI, and Entrepreneurship: How Women Are Turning Scripture Into Online Income

How Women Are Making $375/Day with THIS Christian Online Business

Across the digital landscape, a quiet movement is happening. Women of faith are discovering ways to blend creativity, technology, and scripture into businesses that don’t just generate income but inspire and uplift.

One example comes from a recent video by Journey With The Hintons where creator Mon’nique highlights how women are generating $375 per day with a Christian-based online business model. It’s not about chasing trends or quick money grabs, but rather building a system rooted in purpose, service, and sustainability. She tested a strategy used by a Christian shop that earned over $6,500 in just seven days by selling AI-generated scripture wall art through platforms like TikTok Shop and Etsy.

The story is more than a trend—it’s a window into how values-based entrepreneurship is evolving.

How Christian Women Are Earning $1,000 a Day With AI Scripture Wall Art

In the past few years, we’ve seen an incredible shift in how women—especially Christian women—are creating income online. Gone are the days when starting a business meant stocking products in your garage or spending thousands upfront. Today, with the help of AI tools, print-on-demand platforms, and social media shops, women are building faith-based businesses from home, and some are earning nearly $1,000 per day.

The Power of Faith-Inspired Commerce

For centuries, scripture has been a source of strength, peace, and encouragement. Now, digital tools allow women to bring that inspiration into homes through modern minimalist art prints.

What’s remarkable is the accessibility of this model:

  • AI tools like ChatGPT help generate powerful, relevant Bible verses.

  • MidJourney and Canva turn those verses into beautiful, feminine designs.

  • Platforms like Printful handle printing and shipping so women never touch inventory.

  • Marketplaces like Etsy and TikTok Shop provide ready-made audiences searching for meaningful art.

It’s a simple, low-cost way to build a business that is both profitable and purposeful.

Why This Works for Christian Women

There are three reasons this approach resonates so strongly:

  1. Alignment with Values: It allows women to share their faith while running a business.

  2. Flexibility: The model works from home, with tools that cost very little.

  3. Scalability: Each scripture design can be sold in multiple sizes and formats, creating endless product potential.

It’s not just about décor, it’s about spreading encouragement through every sale.

What This Means for You

Even if you’re not an artist or designer, technology has made it possible to participate. AI takes care of the heavy lifting, and print-on-demand companies handle fulfillment. What’s left is the fun part: choosing verses that inspire and creating designs that speak to the heart.

And the potential is significant. Christian businesses in niches like apparel, books, and home décor are among the fastest-growing segments online.

Growing Beyond the Basics

Final Thoughts

The story of women making $1,000 a day with Christian wall art isn’t just about posters—it’s about possibility. It shows how faith, technology, and entrepreneurship can come together in ways that feel aligned, creative, and financially rewarding.

The most important step? Starting.
