Guide to Post in the Group Successfully!

This is a guide for our #GetFeatureD members but anyone can use this strategy.

Being a GetfeatureD Member can make a difference to your bottom line and double even triple your sales. Make sure you attend our networking events to connect with other wonderful like-minded Boss Ladies. Many partnerships have come out of these events.

In the Group:

You can post everyday whenever you want.

What to post:
Start with posting something about you so people get to know you a little bit, ask questions, then start selling.
This is a timetable that works well for our GetFeatureD Members.

Monday: post about yourself, your weekend. Ask questions.
Tuesday: Ask questions about what you sell, who needs it? How would it help them? What's their favorite one? Etc...
Wednesday: Post your offer and sell. Do à live.
Thursday: post a question, offer something free if you have or add your offer
Friday: sell your offer
Saturday/Sunday: personal posts, questions, how to use your products.

When planning a live, simply schedule an event. Make sure the time slot is free so you don't clash with others. You can check when you go to event in the top menu in the group.
Most lives work best when they are between 10 - 20 minutes long. If you only want to talk for 10 minutes, add a timer at the beginning.

I often use timer, a 3-5 (or more) minutes countdown where you inform members that the live will start in 3-5 (or more) minutes. Once the countdown is over you can do your 5-10-15 or more minutes.
Short is always best, it is better to do 10 minutes every week, than an hour once.

To add a timer, you can use Canva, they have great timer templates. Click Here to find out.

To get better traction and improve the reach of your posts, videos, reels, make sure you comment on other's posts in the group before posting yours. It will not only show the algorithm that you're active, it will also let people you've interacted with know when you you're posting something, as Facebook will post it on their newsfeed.

React and comment on at least 10 posts but no self-promoting posts (do not share links). The algorithm doesn't like posts with too many links in the comments, it will associate your post with spam if you reply to these posts before posting your own.
Find posts of people with pictures or pictures of products, react and post a comment.

When you post something you have a window of up to an hour to make it viral. If you get comments and reactions within the first 20 minutes, Facebook will post it in members' newsfeed, and it is very likely that your post will go viral. If you have non-stop interaction on your post for an hour, it will go viral.

For best results:
- Make sure you collect emails with a landing page.
- Reply to the first 2 comments within few minutes as every time you comment your post gets on the top of the page and it is great to get traction in the first 20 minutes. Then reply to comments after few hours to be able to get your post back at the top every so often. If you have a lot of comments to reply to, comment in batches otherwise Facebook will block you and restrict your ability to interact in the group. Avoid replying to more than 20 comments at a time.

If you have a group, you can post "promote yourself" posts to get people to join your group. Success depends on how many fresh leads you bring to your business/groups. People outgrow you and move on or they're just not your people, it is a positive thing. When you've helped people and they move on you need to bring in new people to help and repeat the cycle. The more active members in your group, the more you will sell.

This is why our GetFeatureD Membership Program is great because you can help our active members and concentrate on what you do best, rather than spreading yourself thin trying to do and be all. You don't even have to have your own group to be successful, you can reap the reward without having to do all the work but simply leveraging other people's group. You then get more opportunity to concentrate on posting your offers in the group.

I hope this helps. Selling in groups is very lucrative and low impact compared to running Facebook ads but it takes a bit of work and patience and a lot of nurturing to get people to know and trust you. You treat people the way you'd like to be treated. 😊

If you're not already a #GetFeatureD member and you want to be able to promote your business everyday inside the group as well as getting social media tips and training in our private members website.
